Lake Of Depression started in 2005 as a solo side-project from Spirit Of The Deep Waters’ frontman Ricardo “Lebzul” Brenes, combining Death/Funeral Doom and Dark Ambient.

A their self-titled demo debut was produced in 2005 with collaboration from Alejandro Escarreola (guitar in Spirit Of The Deep Waters) which was later on included in the 4 way split CD “Infinity In Souls” from Endless Desperation Prods (Russia), along with Quasar, Source of Deep Shadows, and Crepuscularia.

Lake Of Depression then went into a dormant stage for several years until 2019 when Lebzul began the recordings for a new album with some help from ex-bandmate Eduardo Vanegas (ex-lead guitar in Spirit Of The Deep Waters) who later on joined Lake Of Depression as full time bass player, and Adhy Velásquez as guest female vocalist.

“The Dead Whale” Promo Track 2019, was released digitally on July 22, 2019, and it is included along with three other new tracks in “El Trágico Llanto Del Valle”.

Their upcoming full-length “Decadencia” is scheduled for a late 2020 realease.

Sköll is a solo project from Martín González, frontman of the Panamanian Black Thrash Metal band Vóran.

This project was born after Martin suffered three heart attacks in three different occasions, inspiring him through the agony of his own death. The Atmospheric Doom style of Sköll is a reflection of his journey through death.

El Poder de la Soledad and Mi Triste Camino, were recorded in David, Chiriquí and mastered in Costa Rica by Isaac Arroyo at Barba Records. Triste Ilusión was recorded in Chiriquí and mastered by Diego Ortega Calvo (Noctrifer) who also plays the drums on this song. Anima Siderum, was recorded in David, Chiriquí by Martín González and mastered by Ricardo “Lebzul” Brenes at Jaibaná Records, who also wrote the lyrics and performed all vocals for this song.

Both artists are Panamanian, from the province of Chiriquí, performing some truly haunting Doom Metal.
For Lake Of Depression, this is their third release, after their self-titled demo debut in 2005 and "Infinity In Souls" split CD with Crepuscularia, Quasar, and Source Of Deep Shadows, out through Endless Desperation Prods. (Russia) that same year.
For Sköll, this is their debut, and there will be more to come out through Jaibaná Records.
