Wallow's "Book of Assailants" is the latest offering from Ben Vanweelden (Ceremonic Buryment, Distant Vessel, Venomous Echoes). Sick Funeral Doom with so much pain and disgust that will please any fan of the most extreme doom metal. For those who thrive for acts such as Khanate or Corrupted, this will be an absolute feast.

WALLOW is the darker side of Ben Vanweelden's heart. The main focus of this project is truth. Truth about himself and the people who hurt others in this world in various forms. Ben is well known for his Blackened Death Metal solo project Venomous Echoes and wanted to take a personal approach still but in a more "real" context rather than displaying his personal problems in a cosmic horror story.

The first release: "Book of Assailants" is composed of 2 tracks. The first is about a person that is a rapist and and an abuser he knew well, and then, the 2nd is a seething track about an incident he encountered as a kid, dealing with bullies who used to do horrible things to him.
